We here at Supple have been working hard to find new ways to make it easier for librarians to serve their patrons during this time when we’re needing to be socially distanced, and accomplish this with solutions that will continue to be amazing pieces within our environments once we’re able to be safely interacting with one another within our beautiful spaces again. Through distanced collaboration, we have been reaching out to our dealer networks for ideas and developing ideas.

Today we are celebrating one particular partnership we’ve developed with Library Interiors of Texas. Michael and Trevor joined us in great brainstorming sessions and showed some real innovative thinking and as we searched for ways to both protect us now as well as making sure that the investments our libraries and schools make now will be relevant after we beat COVID and emerge back into fresh air to reconnect with those we’ve not seen for far too long. Let us introduce you to QuickServe.

QuickServe allows you to move your first point of contact with patrons to curbside, while protecting your librarians and those they are interacting with. It is a station for your clientele to quickly drop off and pick items up, while providing you with a message board to get important news across.

As we transition to inviting larger groups back into our libraries, QuickServe adapts. Simply switching out or removing the protective shield and the piece transforms into a mobile solution to the many needs you have.

Sitting just inside your entry it is a multifunction book drop. It can become a self-service holds/ reserves station as well as a serviced jump station where your librarians can respond to patrons. It is easily transformed into a self-check and/or OPAC if you’d like.

It’s still a messaging board, providing the ability to easily change out the panel (white/black/pinboard, slat wall, etc.) as well as the smaller wayfinding panel above, and most importantly, adjust to your needs and remain relevant. Inexpensive and multi-functional, QuickServe has a place in every environment.
