Description
Periodical
The idea underpinning the BeeHive is that librarians are looking to activate their spaces with fresh, interesting programming ideas. Today’s libraries are meeting places– a forum for the presentation of interesting topics, a place where folks want to discuss and sometimes debate ideas. Libraries are more exciting places when this kind of activity is encouraged and planned for. Librarians are constantly looking for ways to create spaces that enable natural, spontaneous conversations, as well as provide opportunities for presentations that are both separated from the general flow and still an integrated part of the library. The BeeHive units are inherently flexible shelving and display units featuring double-sided housing and transparency.
